TO ALL UNIT OWNERS RE: NATIONAL GRID REQUESTING ENTRY TO YOUR UNIT
Prompted by your informing me of the communication you received from National Grid to enter your unit in order to do a required inspection, I communicated with the VCA attorney.
The VCA attorney responded with: “………. my recommendation is that unit owners do whatever they wish inside their units. They can allow National Grid in the unit to inspect and suggest changes etc. … but they have no authority to allow any installations on the exterior of the buildings and should direct the National Grid personnel to the VCA office and tell National Grid to take no action to remove any interior meters to the exterior without consent of the Board.”
The VCA attorney has sent National Grid a Chapter 93A demand letter in hopes of hearing from them favorably.
