Make things …
The Hatch Makerspace is an initiative of the Watertown Free Public Library. It has space, tools, equipment, and materials available for your use. Share skills with your neighbors.
The Hatch Makerspace is located at the 20 Summer Street, Watertown.

Sidewalks
The City of Watertown is responsible for the streets and sidewalks in the Village. To report problems contact the Department of Public Works at 617-972-6420 or through their web form.
Recycling
Watertown began "single-stream" recycling on August 6, 2012. Village residents do not receive individual toters. We continue to use the toters by the dumpsters, but all recycling (paper, metal, plastic, cardboard) can be mixed in the toters. It is important not to put trash in the recycling toters and not to put recyclables in the dumpsters. Do not put plastic bags, including bags used to hold your recycling, in the recycling toters. See the Department of Public Works' trash and recycling information page here.
Voting
It is important for all of our eligible residents to register to vote. This can be done at City Hall on Main St. during business hours.
City Council
City council meetings are held the second and fourth Tuesday of every month except July and August (only one meeting is held in those months) at 7:15 p.m. in the Louis Mastrangelo room on the second floor of City Hall.
